Photographer Jø Cheung explores familial connections for FGR’s most up-to-date unique. Fashions Mathilda Forssbeck and Arifi star as two siblings navigating the ebbs and flows of their relationship.
I Went Dancing with My Sister
Cheung captures the strain and tenderness between the sisters by way of a palette of vibrant hues and muted tones. The story weaves an intimate and introspective narrative, inviting viewers into the sisters’ world. The pictures expose the pressure of disconnection and finish with the fantastic thing about reconciliation.
To enhance this poignant story, Cheung kinds the shoot with relaxed clothes and separates from manufacturers like COS, Zara, and H&M. The wonder seems, created by hairstylist Linda Lattes and make-up artist Monika Lużyńska, add one other layer. The undone hairstyles exude a way of vulnerability, whereas refined blush software brings heat to the fashions’ faces.
